Milenko Divjak
Beograd
Milenko Divjak, born in 1966 in Belgrade, graduated in 1995 as a Master of Art at the Faculty for Fine Arts in Belgrade. In his paintings, sculptures and objects Milenko Divjak is on the search for “the creation of an unity between rational and emotional energy”. Events and impressions form themselves in the unconscious by the sensitive and intensive reactions of the artist at his environment. This reactions are transformed in refined visual messages. During this creative impulse the power of the personality of the artist is very important because he controls the process. Milenko’s expressive language uses different shapes: ellipses, rectangles, triangles and lines as rational control over the emotions. Milenko Divjak had over 25 solo exhibitions and numerous group exhibitions among others in Belgrade, Toulouse, Brussels, Antwerp, Sapporo (Japan) and Sophia (Bulgaria).
