Biography
Aksentije Marodic was a 19th century Serbian painter whose manner was very different from other artists of his time. He was deeply impressed by his travel throughout Italy, where he met famous works of Italian Renaissance. After returning to his homeland, he frequently painted in a style and manner of Italian masters.
