Exhibition „Borislav Pekic”19.03.2010. 19:40


On March 25, 2010 at 19:00 will be open the exhibition dedicated to Borislav Pekic at the Serbian Cultural Center in Paris. It is envisaged that the exhibition opened our ambassador to France, Dusan Batakovic, director of the Belgrade City Library, Jasmina Ninkov and author Olga Krasic-Marjanovic.

On the occasion of 80 years from birth of Borislav Pekic Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia and the Belgrade City Library organized a presentation setting of the exhibition which was organized premiered two years ago (2007) in the Atrium of the Belgrade City Library. The exhibition is  translated to  French and updated with new posters captures all the important moments of life and creativity of Borislav Pekic: from childhood and family albums to significant awards. It should be noted that the three books "Golden Fleece" is already translated and published in France, so we hope this exhibition will encourage the French translators and publishers to publish other books of Pekic. The exhibition has a rich catalog of French and DVD with French subtitles.On the initiated of Olga Krasic-Marjanovic, who is author of this project,  during the exhibition i will be displayed and the TV movie "Where vines crying" by  Radmila Radakovic and Dragomir Zupanc, Drama production of the RTS,  in which Tihomir Stanic is  interpreting a character writer and  telling excerpts from his diary.
