Autopsia comes from nowhere. There is no address or place of origin. Was first reacted 1980,  The Zine Bank and past Rot Selavy, her biography until now not written, available data are scarce, and it reduced to a few texts and reproduction. Principle is uncommunicative, hermetic and elitist. Enjoys cult status in the narrow circles of fans of industrial music, is characterized by a respectable discography, held only two shows and the beginning of his non-career. His visual production posed a few times (including the 1987), and then arbitrarily on to oblivion. Its theme is death, method of repetition, and speech impersonal. Autopsia is indigenous and bastardni outgrowth of an independent and intermedia supkulturne scene formed around punk and new wave, but whose program goals and go back further than the joy of home do-it-I production and club feast igneous creativity. Coincidentally or not, autopsy emergence coincides with an epochal event of the death of the creator of socialist Yugoslavia, at the beginning of ideological and institutional crisis of the Yugoslav system of culture-art, and overall feelings of "the end" and the uncertainty throw in "zero state of being" early post-socialism. Autopsia is similar in Laibach (which shares some aesthetic principles of visual and musical synergy), expressed a keen ear for pregnantnost historical moment, and before you recognized open space for the intervention of art in the very fabric of the political economy of culture. Deepened their conceptual, theoretically informed, exclusive content and language intriguing projects Autopsia is positioned in the interspace between "high" and "low" culture, mainstream and alternative, imposing it, retroactively, as one of the most authentic and the most uncompromising art projects at the former Yugoslavia .
