Biography


Zora Petrovic was one of the most significant representatives of Expressionism of color in Serbian art between two wars. She went in art school in Budapest. After returning to Belgrade, at first she worked as a painting teacher, and later as a professor at Belgrade Academy of Arts. Predominant subject in her work is a female nude, which she depicts without idealization.
