Natalija Cvetkovic belongs to the generation of artists that created the most significant part of their work in first two decades of 20th century. Her career and her painting suffered from the fact that she was a female in the time and milieu that was still unready to accept female artists. Her opus consists merely of portraits (particularly female) and landscapes.
