Milan Konjović
Sombor
Milan Konjovic was born in Sombor in 1898. He is considered to be one of the most significant exponents of Expressionism of color in Serbian art between two wars. He learned painting in Prague, and on study trips throughout Europe. His work is divided in several phases: dark phase, phase of Neoclassicism (classic realism), blue phase, red and gray phase.
