Biography
Aleksandar Tomasevic was a conservator and painter. He was one of the most distinguished representatives of progressive modernistic stream in second half of 20th century. He was member of December group and “Samostalni”. He looked for inspiration for his geometric paintings in Serbian medieval art heritage – frescoes, mosaics, decorative parts of medieval architecture, carpets and folk tradition.
