Biography


Vlaho Bukovac is considered to be the first and leading representer of Croatian modern art movement. He finished Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris. He lived in Cavtat, Dubrovnik, Paris, Zagreb and Prague. He was professor at Acadèmia výtrarných umetni in Prague. He was member of SANU, JAZU and Czech Academy of Arts and Sciences.
