Ranko Radovic (1935-2005), was an architect, urbanist, professor of architecture at the university, the author of articles on architecture and urbanism, graphic artist and painter. He was born in Podgorica, but more as a child moved with his family to Belgrade, where he was raised and educated. He considered himself from Belgrade with Dorcol, Montenegrins and citizen of the world. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture, where he later received his MA and Ph.D. at the Sorbonne Paris. As a graphic artist, illustrator and painter had twenty-six solo exhibitions, among which were significant in Belgrade, Lisbon, Helsinki, Palermo, Budapest, The Hague and Paris. He was a member of many professional organizations in the country and abroad. He has published more than hundred scientific and professional papers in journals and collections in the country and abroad, and seventeen books, four of them abroad, translated into several languages. As an architect, realized the twenty-nine buildings and is listed among the most important architects of the world. He received awards for graphics October Salon 1987, wolves Awards 1997 Awards ULUPUDS for Lifetime Achievement 2000, Award for Architecture "George Tabaković" 2001.
