Whatever we think about temptations of the masses, a burden of choice at different moments and on different occasions, the mysterious, democracy or globalization, no matter how much we debate about classification of taste, size and messages, without yearning for the good old days, we face again a small effort for personal use and an approach that enables us to be free in the domain of intimate communication are at issue.

Colourful fields that promise tenderness and pleasure, both visible and invisible, love at first sight and long-term relationships, for common and special moments, discrete and direct messages, implicit or explicit, suave or aggressive, classified according to taste and size, for peeping Toms and the indifferent: daily, night, stripped, fruity, freckled, heavenly…for spaces that cannot be controlled and that break the conventions.

The photos displayed at this exhibition were created in the course of 2006 and 2007. As far as their painterly approach, they are filled with feeling of nostalgia if we compare them with our enormous art heritage. They represent also homage to those great artists of painted field, from Kandinsky and de Kooning on.
