Artist's short biography
Mirko Rački
He was born in Novi Marof, Croatia. After studying at the Teacher's Academy in Zagreb, he attended the private art school of H. Strehblow in Vienna then the Academy of Vlaho Bukovac in Prague and that of W. Unge in Vienna. He lived in Munich from 1907 to 1914, and then in Rome, Geneva, Zagreb and Split.
