Artist's short biography
Jasmina Aleksić Alex
Beograd
Jasmina Aleksic, a graphic artist and a painter, was born in the city of Odzaci, the Republic of Serbia. She has been a member of ULUS, The Association of Fine Artists of Serbia since 2004.
Mrs. Aleksic graduated in 1987 on the Faculty of Pedagogy, Department of Fine Arts, in the class of Professor Anka Buric in Niksic, Montenegro. She taught art for many years both in primary and high schools, in her country and abroad. During the last decade she has been living and working in Belgrade, being completely dedicated to the graphic art (the aquatint technique, engraving).
She had ten individual exhibitions and she also took part in more than thirty group exhibitions in her country and abroad (Cyprus, France, India, Slovenia, Sweden, Spain, Belgium, Portugal, Greece and Macedonia).
