Emerik Feješ

Emerik Fejes was born in Osijek, as a seventh child in a poor family with fourteen children. His family moved to Novi Sad in 1909. and there he started to train for craftsman. He worked as a craftsman for a long time before he first started to paint. He started to paint when he was 49. He is considered to be one of the most significant Naive painters on Balkans.
